Histopathologic Findings in a Case of Bilateral Mooren¢¥s Ulcer Producing a Uveitis

Abstract
Mooren¢¥s ulcer is a chronic, painful corneal ulceration of unknown
occurs in three directions: round the periphery, in towards the cornea, the sclera.
We experienced a case of Mooren¢¥s ulcer in 77-year-old female, in which chronic granulo-
matous uveitis was complicated along with rubeosis iridis, pars planitis. and peripheral retinal vasculitis.
Mooren¢¥s ulcer appears to be a distinct entity clinically and a distinct entity by gross pathologic examination but a nonspecific process histologically.
